Arizer Go SRT

Arizer Go SRT

Arizer Go SRT Overview

The Go SRT is the replacement for the ArGo and the first pocket Arizer to run the SRT operating system that debuted on the Solo 3. It uses a ceramic hybrid heater that Arizer rates at 75 percent convection and 25 percent conduction, feeding an all-glass vapor path. The big change is the Go Shell, a glass dosing capsule that drops into the oven and lifts back out with a grip tool, so you can preload doses and keep the device itself clean. A 21700 cell sits behind a user-serviceable door, which puts it on our replaceable battery list.

Temperature runs from 50C to 220C in single degree steps, and each of the three presets stores both a temperature and a heat time between 20 seconds and 5 minutes. That combination lets you set up a 30 second on-demand style hit and a five minute session on the same device without going into a menu. The colour screen shows heat-up, heat time and residual heat as bars, and it flips automatically when you invert the device for water pipe use with the included 14mm Go WPA. At 242 grams it is heavy for its size, which is the main thing reviewers flag.

Arizer Go SRT FAQs

How is the Arizer Go SRT different from the ArGo?

The Go SRT is a full redesign rather than a refresh. It moves to the SRT operating system with a colour screen and three editable presets, adds the glass Go Shell dosing capsule system, switches to a single 21700 cell and USB-C Power Delivery, and includes a 14mm water pipe adapter in the box.

How does the Go SRT compare with the Arizer Solo 3?

The Solo 3 is larger, hits harder and runs longer per charge. The Go SRT trades some of that for a pocketable shape, a concealed stem and the Go Shell system. Both use the SRT interface, so the controls will feel familiar if you own either one.

What are Go Shells and do I need them?

Go Shells are small borosilicate glass capsules that hold your load and slide into the oven. You can preload several, cap them for travel and swap a hot one out with the Go Shell Grip. They also keep residue inside the shell instead of the device. One shell comes in the box and Arizer sells extra packs.

What temperature range does the Go SRT cover?

It runs from 50C to 220C in single degree steps, and each preset stores a temperature alongside a heat time between 20 seconds and 5 minutes. The low end is there for aroma diffusion rather than vaporizing flower. Our temperature guide covers useful starting points.

How long does the battery last and can I replace it?

Arizer quotes roughly 50 to 60 minutes of run time, which reviewers found to be about 10 to 12 sessions. It uses a single 21700 cell that you can replace with basic tools. Charging over USB-C takes around two hours, and passthrough charging means you can vape while it is plugged in.

Can the Go SRT be used with a water pipe?

Yes. The frosted Go WPA in the box connects a Go Shell to any 14mm joint. Turning the device upside down with Inversion enabled flips the screen and the button mapping so it still reads correctly. See our water pipe guide for setup advice.

Does the Go SRT work with concentrates?

No. It is a dry herb and botanical device with a glass vapor path, and Arizer does not sell a concentrate insert for it. Our guide on vaping concentrates in a dry herb vaporizer explains the risks of trying anyway.

What does the Go SRT warranty cover?

Arizer gives a lifetime warranty on the heating element, a limited 2 year warranty on defects in materials and workmanship, and a limited 1 year warranty on the battery. Glass parts are not covered. Keep your proof of purchase, and return shipping is the owner's responsibility.

Arizer Go SRT Cleaning & Maintenance

Because the Go SRT uses a glass shell or aroma tube as the chamber, most of the residue ends up on parts you can lift out and soak. The device body stays comparatively clean, but the oven walls, the filter screens and the mouthpiece still need attention if you want the draw to stay open and the flavour to stay clean.

Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)

  1. Let the shell cool or use the grip: Shells are hot straight after use. Either wait, or press the Go Shell Grip onto the exposed part and lift it out.
  2. Empty the shell: Tip out the spent material and use the stainless steel stirring tool to loosen anything stuck to the glass.
  3. Brush the oven mouth: A quick pass with the bamboo cleaning brush keeps loose material out of the oven and off the lid seal.

Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Sessions)

  1. Strip the glass parts: Remove the Go Shell, the Go Glass Mouthpiece or Aroma Tube, the Go WPA and the filter screens.
  2. Soak them in isopropyl alcohol: Arizer suggests a couple of hours in rubbing alcohol for glass parts and screens.
  3. Rinse and dry fully: Rinse everything with hot water and let it dry completely before it goes near the device.
  4. Swab the oven: Hold the device upside down and wipe the oven with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol so nothing runs into the heater.
  5. Check the vents: Keep the air intake vents on the body clear, since blocked vents cut airflow through the shell.

Care Tips for Better Results

  • Load coarsely ground material and tamp lightly, leaving a 1 to 2mm gap at the top of the shell for airflow.
  • Preloading spare shells and capping them keeps sessions quick and the oven tidy. See our dosing capsule guide.
  • Rotate the five included filter screens rather than scrubbing a clogged one.
  • Glass is not covered by the warranty, so store the aroma tube and mouthpiece in the PVC travel tubes when they are not in use.
  • For general technique, read our guide on how to clean a dry herb vaporizer.

Learn More About Arizer Go SRT

The Go SRT suits an Arizer owner who wants Solo 3 style control in something that fits a jacket pocket. Preset heat times mean you can keep a 30 second hit and a five minute session side by side, and the glass Go Shells work like dosing capsules, so you load several at home and swap them out while you are away. The all-glass airpath is why Arizer devices keep turning up on our flavour chasers list, and a swappable 21700 keeps it going past the point where a sealed battery would end the day.

The trade-offs are weight and price. At 242 grams it is heavier than most portables its size, and $320 puts it firmly in premium territory next to the Solo 3, which costs less and hits harder. The Go Shell holds about 0.2g in practice, so heavy users will reload often. The menu-driven interface also takes some learning compared with a simple up and down device. If you are choosing between heating styles first, our convection vs conduction and session vs on-demand guides are the place to start.
