Airis Switch 3-in-1 FAQs

What are the three bullets that come with the Airis Switch?

Airistech supplies a spare herb bullet, a wax bullet and an oil bullet. The herb one is metal, with a twist off cap and five holes in its floor. The wax and oil bullets carry a bar down the middle.

What temperatures does the Airis Switch run at?

Three fixed settings: 420F on green, 435F on blue and 450F on white. One press cycles through them, and a solid LED with a short vibration means it is ready. All three sit high for flower, so see what temperature you should vape flower.

Can you put wax straight into the ceramic chamber?

No. Airistech warns that wax or oil in the bare ceramic chamber will damage the device if it drips onto the heating element. Use the wax or oil bullet on the high setting, and keep the Switch upright while one is fitted. See can you vape concentrates in a dry herb vaporizer.

Why does the Airis Switch turn itself off mid session?

That is the three minute safety cutoff. It vibrates to warn you, and five rapid presses of the power button restart it, the same gesture that turns it on and off.

How long does the Airis Switch take to charge?

Around two to three hours from empty on the micro USB port under the silicone lid. A solid red LED means charging, and the light going out is the only full signal. Ten red flashes in use means low battery.

What replacement parts can you still get for the Airis Switch?

Airistech now lists only mouthpieces, the 360 degree rotating magnetic one and a metal version shared with the airis Herborn. The bullets once sold in packs of five but are gone, so look after your spares.

What does the Airis Switch warranty cover?

One year from retail purchase for the original buyer, covering physical defects Airistech will repair or replace. Its shop terms put batteries at six months and exclude cosmetic issues, consumer caused damage and anything not bought from Airistech.

Airis Switch 3-in-1 Cleaning & Maintenance

The Switch pushes three different materials through one ceramic oven, so residue turns up in three separate places: the oven walls after a herb session, the five vent holes in the base of the metal herb bullet, and the magnetic face and swivel of the rotating mouthpiece, where vapour condenses as soon as the device cools.

  1. Shut it down and wait: Five quick presses on the power button turns the Switch off. Anything in the oven, a fitted bullet included, gets very hot, and Airistech's instructions say to leave disassembly until the device has cooled fully.

  2. Lift the mouthpiece and tip the oven out: The mouthpiece is held by a magnet, so it comes away from the ceramic chamber with a straight pull. Empty the chamber fully first, then work the supplied cleaning brush around the inside and the rim without leaning on the ceramic.

  3. Pipe cleaner through the air path: Three pipe cleaners ship in the kit and the manual assigns them to the isolated air path, the channel that routes vapour past the electronics. Draw one through until it comes out clean, and clear the airflow hole on the body.

  4. Clean the bullets off the device: The herb bullet is metal with a twist off cap and five holes in its floor; the wax and oil bullet carries a vertical bar down the centre. Unscrew the cap, lift the residue with the dab tool, then give a gummed up wax bullet what Airistech recommends for concentrate hardware: half an hour in isopropyl, a soft brush, a warm water rinse, and a full dry before refitting.

  5. Silicone lid and charging port: The lid covering the micro USB port pulls off and goes into hot water on its own, and two spares come in the kit. Dry it thoroughly so no moisture sits against the port.

Nothing on this device tolerates being dunked. Airistech states plainly that liquid inside the body will destroy the heating element, so keep alcohol out of the ceramic oven and away from the charging port. Wax and oil belong in their bullet only, since material dripping onto the bare heater is the exact failure the bullet system exists to prevent. Airistech puts its dry herb vaporizers at a clean every ten to fifteen sessions and concentrate gear at weekly or fortnightly, so heavy wax use should set the schedule. A flat 2200mAh battery wants two to three hours on the micro USB cable, and the red charging LED switching off is the only full signal you get. Bullets sell in packs of five, and the magnetic mouthpiece is still stocked as a spare.
