Privacy Policy

Effective July 30, 2026. The short version: no accounts, no selling data, and we only store what you choose to submit.

The Short Version

  • There are no user accounts and nothing here requires signing up.
  • We store data only when you submit it: a device rating or a game scoreboard entry.
  • We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful.
  • We never sell personal information.

What We Collect

Device ratings and comments. When you rate a device, we store the display name you type (it doesn't need to be your real name), your rating, your comment, the device it applies to, the submission time, and your IP address, which is kept solely to limit spam and abuse. Ratings and comments are displayed publicly on the relevant device page.

Game scoreboard. If you submit a VapeLord score, we store the initials you enter and the score. Game progress itself is saved only in your own browser.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages get read and how the site performs. It collects usage data such as pages viewed, browser and device type, and approximate location, and it sets cookies to distinguish visitors. See Google's own privacy documentation for the details of what they process.

Server infrastructure. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes IP addresses and request logs as part of serving any website. We also read your request's country code to preselect a display currency on the device finder; that value is used in the moment and not stored by us.

Cookies and Local Storage

We don't set any cookies ourselves. Google Analytics sets its own cookies as described above, and you can block or clear them in your browser without breaking the site.

We use your browser's local storage for small preferences that never leave your device: your light/dark theme choice and your VapeLord game progress and personal best.

Third Parties

Affiliate links. Many outbound links to retailers are affiliate links (marked with rel="sponsored"). If you click one, the retailer or an affiliate network such as ShareASale or Impact may set cookies on their own sites to attribute a purchase, and we may earn a commission. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Embedded videos. Some pages embed YouTube videos. When a video loads or plays, YouTube may collect data and set cookies under its own policy.

Service providers. We use Google (analytics), Supabase (database hosting for ratings and scores), and Vercel (site hosting) to run the site. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own advertising on our behalf, and we don't sell personal information to anyone.

Your Choices

  • Submit ratings under any display name you like.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out tools.
  • Ask us to remove a rating, comment, or scoreboard entry you submitted, or to delete the data associated with it, by emailing hi@thermalextractions.com.

Submitted content is kept until you ask us to remove it. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.

Audience and Changes

Thermal Extractions covers vaporizers for adults. The site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
