What changed in the Arizer Solo 3 v2?
Arizer refreshed the Solo 3 in April 2025: a Sea of Green colourway, a lock screen that can be disabled, real time On Demand with adjustable presets, a session toggle, a streamlined operating system and USB-C PD charging that refills in about 75 minutes. A v2 shows hollow circles at start-up, and only v2 can turn the lock off.
Is the Arizer Solo 3 a session or an on-demand vaporizer?
Both, and holding the LEFT button swaps modes. Session Mode heats on its own and holds your set temperature. In On Demand Mode you press UP, draw once the bars turn yellow, then keep drawing on residual heat as they fade to grey.
How fast does the Arizer Solo 3 heat up?
Arizer quotes 5 to 15 seconds from a ceramic heater split 80 percent convection, 20 percent conduction. The default On Demand heat time is 10 seconds, editable per preset.
How do you turn on the Arizer Solo 3?
Hold the centre M button for three seconds, then clear the lock screen with LEFT, UP, RIGHT in that order. The hint is etched into the base, and the lock is optional.
What do the XL Glass Aroma Tubes add over the standard stems?
Arizer says they double the dose and increase airflow, and clear and frosted 14mm XL tubes are both in the box. They fit the Solo III alone, though every official Air and Solo tube still works.
Can you replace the battery in the Arizer Solo 3?
No. Arizer fits a dual cell 21700 pack it calls not user replaceable and warrants it for one year. A charge runs about three hours and refills in about three over USB-C, and 5 to 10 minutes lets you use it while charging.
Is there a recall on the Arizer Solo 3?
Yes. Arizer has a voluntary recall in Canada and the United States for select units sold or replaced under warranty after 29 May 2025, following reports of battery thermal events. It covers only Intergalactic Black units with one of eight listed serial prefixes, printed on the base.
What size water pipe joint does the Solo 3 fit?
The XL Frosted Glass Aroma Tube is a 14mm male glass on glass joint, and 19mm tubes, reducers and expanders are sold separately. Switch Inversion on and the display and controls flip when the unit hangs upside down in a water pipe.
