DaVinci recommends cleaning every part that touches vapor on a regular schedule, because a conduction oven and a narrow zirconia airpath both clog with resin. The good news is that the flavour chamber and mouthpiece lift out with the onboard pick tool, so most of the work is a soak rather than scrubbing.

Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)

1. Let the device cool: The oven and the metal around it stay hot for a while after a session.
2. Empty the oven: Open the bottom lid and use the onboard pick tool, stored under the upper lid, to clear spent material.
3. Stir before the next pack: The same tool loosens anything stuck around the pearl so the next load sits evenly.

Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Sessions)

1. Remove the flavour chamber: Use the pick tool to lift the zirconia flavour chamber out of the vapor path.
2. Soak the zirconia parts: Put the mouthpiece and flavour chamber in isopropyl alcohol for as long as they need, then rinse with water.
3. Wipe the rest of the vapor path: Clean the remaining vapor path surfaces and the oven with isopropyl alcohol on a swab or one of the included wipes until they come away clean.
4. Dry everything fully: Let all parts dry before reassembling, and check the pearl still threads smoothly.

Care Tips for Better Results

• Do not use abrasive materials on the device, oven or vapor path. DaVinci warns this causes damage.
• Pack lightly for the best vapor, then close the bottom lid so the pearl firms the load up.
• Skipping cleaning is specifically excluded from the five year warranty, so keep to a schedule.
