PAX FLOW Overview
The PAX Flow is the newest loose-leaf portable from PAX Labs. It keeps the familiar pocketable shape but rotates the oven sideways and opens up the airpath, giving each draw more freedom than earlier PAX units. Heat-up sits in the half-minute range and haptics confirm when it is ready. Beyond the airflow tweaks, Flow adds a hybrid heater with real-time temperature control. Five heat modes sit between 180°C and 215°C plus a Bong Mode that pushes to 225°C for use with the optional water pipe adapter.

How It Heats and Operates
Flow runs on a hybrid system that leans on conduction but boosts extraction with added convection during a draw. It uses a single button for control, cycling through four petal modes and Bong Mode. The petal modes roughly map to 180°C, 190°C, 205°C, and 215°C; Bong Mode jumps to 225°C. Expect warm-up in about 30-45 seconds with haptics once the temperature locks in.
Battery and Charging
An internal 2000mAh cell powers the device. In practice that is good for around five to seven sessions before you need to recharge. USB-C charging is standard and fairly quick: roughly 20 minutes to about half a charge and around 40 minutes for a full top-up.

PAX FLOW Cleaning & Maintenance
PAX Flow is straightforward to keep tidy thanks to the side-loading oven door and removable screens. Quick touches after each session go a long way, and a deeper clean every few outings keeps the draw wide open.
- Let the vape cool completely, then pop off the oven door by pressing the circle and lifting it away.
- Tap out the bowl and give the oven and airpath a quick brush to clear loose material.
- Slide the screen out from the oven floor. If it is gunked up, soak it in isopropyl alcohol for 10-15 minutes, then rinse and dry.
- Wipe the oven door and the exposed airpath with a cotton swab lightly dipped in isopropyl. Avoid soaking the door itself.
- Reinstall a clean, dry screen and the oven door. Run an empty heat cycle to clear any leftover alcohol before your next session.
