It sticks with the familiar single-button control and pocketable shell but adds four experience modes that shift vapor output without fussing over exact temps. Heat-up lands under 30 seconds, and the feel sits close to the classic PAX draw but with a bit more open airflow than the earliest models.The oven takes 0.25g to 0.5g loads depending on whether you use the half-pack lid. The Complete Kit includes a concentrate insert, so waxy material is an option on the Boost mode, though flower remains its strong suit.

How It Heats and Operates
PAX Plus uses conduction heating with four preset Experience Modes shown by the petal LEDs: Stealth (light vapor, dim lights), Efficiency (balanced extraction), Flavor (cooler hits that stretch taste), and Boost (hotter and denser, also suited for the concentrate insert). Lip sensing and motion detection throttle the heater between pulls, and heat-up is usually under half a minute from cold.
Battery and Charging
An internal 3300mAh battery is rated for a little over two hours on the lower modes. Charging happens through the magnetic dock with a USB cable and typically takes under two hours from empty. Shake the device to check level; the petals use four segments to show remaining charge.

PAX Plus Cleaning & Maintenance
Regular maintenance keeps the PAX Plus tasting clean and the airflow easy, especially if you swap between flower and the concentrate insert.
- Let the device cool. Remove the oven lid and tap out any material. Take the screen out of the oven floor.
- Brush the oven walls and airpath to clear loose debris. A light tap on your palm helps release a sticky screen.
- Soak the screen in isopropyl alcohol for 10-15 minutes, then rinse and dry.
- Moisten a cotton swab with isopropyl and wipe the oven walls, the underside of the lid, and the vapor path. Keep it to a light wipe; do not soak the lid.
- For the concentrate insert, remove any residue, then wipe the chamber with an isopropyl-swab; let it dry fully.
- Reinstall the dry screen and lid. Run a short empty heat cycle on Stealth or Efficiency to burn off any leftover alcohol before loading.
