DynaVap The G3

DynaVap The G3

DynaVap The G3 Overview

The DynaVap G3 is the cheapest complete device DynaVap sells. The tip and midsection are one piece of glass with the screen built in, so the whole vaporizer is two parts: the glass unibody and the Captive Cap. There is no condenser, no o-rings and no screen to reposition. In the United States it ships with a single flame Clipper torch and a tin case, which makes it one of the few vaporizers under $100 that needs nothing else on day one.

Key Features & Benefits of the DynaVap The G3

PortableAnalogHybridBudgetGlassMicrodosing

The bowl is fixed at 0.05g, roughly half what an M series tip holds, so this is a microdosing device rather than a session one. Glass keeps the flavor clean and makes cleaning trivial, but it is also the reason DynaVap advises against induction heaters here and why the G3 is happier as a device that lives at home. The midsection is cut into three lobes so it will not roll off a table and the cap rests at a consistent point.

What Comes with the DynaVap G3?

  • DynaVap Captive Cap

DynaVap The G3 FAQs

How is the G3 different from the B2?

The G3 is a two piece all glass unibody with a fixed 0.05g bowl and no condenser. The B2 has a stainless steel tip in a silicone stem, a 0.075g bowl, a condenser and a 10mm taper for water pipes. DynaVap prices the G3 at $35 and the B2 at $59.

Can the G3 bowl be made smaller?

No. Most DynaVap tips use Adjust-a-Bowl, where moving the CCD shrinks the chamber, but the G3's screen is part of the glass. The 0.05g chamber is already about half the size of an M series bowl, so it is a microdose device as it comes.

Does the G3 fit a water pipe?

No. DynaVap states the glass unibody is not tapered, so there is nothing to seat in a female joint. If water filtration matters, the BB3 or a VonG is the cheaper route. Our guide to dry herb vaping with a water pipe explains why the difference matters.

Can I use an induction heater with the G3?

DynaVap does not recommend it. Induction heaters and the Ispire Wand are listed as not recommended because of the glass construction. A single flame torch, which is included on United States orders, is the intended heat source and takes about 5 to 7 seconds to reach the click.

Which DynaVap parts fit the G3?

Caps only. DynaVap lists the standard Cap, Low Temp Cap, Perforated Cap and Cap Armor as compatible, along with the DynaStash, SlimStash and SlingStash. Tips, condenser assemblies, dosing capsules and the DynaCoil are all listed as not compatible.

Does the G3 come with a torch?

In the United States, yes, a full Clipper single flame torch and a Pink Slip cleaning strip in a tin case. The international version is the same price and ships without the torch, because of shipping restrictions on lighters.

How fragile is the G3?

It is glass, so it will break if dropped on a hard floor. Reviewers consistently call it a device best kept at home or carried in the supplied tin. The tri-lobe shape at least stops it rolling off a table while it cools.

What warranty does the G3 have?

DynaVap covers the G Series under its 90 day satisfaction guarantee if you buy direct. Its lifetime functional warranty specifically excludes glass stems, so a broken G3 outside those 90 days is handled case by case rather than as a covered claim.

DynaVap The G3 Cleaning & Maintenance

Cleaning the G3 is the simplest job in the DynaVap range. There are only two parts, no o-rings, no condenser and no removable screen, so resin has one place to build up: the inside of the glass unibody, from the bowl down past the airport to the mouth end. Because the screen is fused into the glass, the whole airpath cleans in one soak.

Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)

  1. Wait for the cooldown click: Then give the glass another minute before you handle it. Thermal shock is the main way these break.
  2. Tap the bowl out: Turn the unibody over and knock the spent material free, or lift it out with the digger-outer tab on the cap.
  3. Wipe the airport: A dry cotton bud over the circular airport keeps the draw consistent.

Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Sessions)

  1. Separate the two parts: Slide the Captive Cap off the glass. That is the whole teardown.
  2. Soak the glass unibody: Drop it in 90 percent or stronger isopropyl for 15 to 30 minutes, or overnight if it is badly loaded. Warm water and dish soap does the same job more slowly, and the Pink Slip supplied with United States orders works in hot water.
  3. Never soak the cap: Swab the inside with a cotton bud instead. Moisture caught in the crimped end will damage the cap the next time you heat it, and DynaVap asks for 24 hours of drying if one does get wet.
  4. Rinse in hot water and dry fully: Any alcohol left in the glass is a fire risk once the torch comes out, so let it dry completely before the next session.
  5. Lift torch soot off the cap: Metal polish or a baking soda paste removes scorch marks. Keep abrasive pads off the glass.

Care Tips for Better Results

  • Do not push a tool into the glass to scrape residue. Soaking does the work and a hard tool will chip the bore.
  • Store it in the supplied tin between sessions. Glass and pockets do not mix.
  • Keep the grind medium rather than fine so the fused screen does not clog. See our grind guide.
  • Heat higher on the cap for lighter, more flavorful draws and lower for thicker vapor, then adjust with our temperature guide.
  • The 0.05g bowl is small, so a light pack still fills it. Overloading is the usual cause of a restricted draw.

Learn More About DynaVap The G3

At $35 with a torch and a case included, the G3 is the cheapest honest way to find out whether the DynaVap approach suits you, which is why it belongs on our vaporizers under $100 and portable budget vaporizers lists. The glass airpath means no metallic note in the vapor and no condenser to soak, so it is genuinely one of the easiest vaporizers to clean: pull the cap, drop the body in isopropyl, rinse. A fixed 0.05g bowl also makes it a natural fit for microdosing, where a full M sized chamber would be more than you want.

The limits are real. Glass is fragile, so this is a device for a desk or a padded case rather than a jeans pocket, and DynaVap advises against induction heaters because of the material. There is no condenser and no taper, so it will not drop into a water pipe and the draw runs warmer than a longer stem would. Nothing swaps either: tips, condenser assemblies, dosing capsules and the DynaCoil are all listed as incompatible, so the G3 is a finished device rather than a platform. If you want a starter that can grow, look at the B2 or read convection vs conduction before you decide.
