How do you turn the Boundless Vexil on and set the temperature?
Five quick presses of the power button, within about three seconds, switches it on or off. The arrow buttons cycle four fixed presets, 377F, 399F, 413F and 437F, with an LED changing colour to show which. Nothing sits between those four.
What is the zirconia spiral inside the Vexil mouthpiece?
A spiral air path that cools vapor on its way out, and why the mouthpiece pulls apart into pieces. Boundless limits isopropyl alcohol to the chamber, the spiral and its holder, and warns that leaving the mouthpiece soaking can damage the materials.
Can you replace the Vexil mouthpiece?
Yes. A magnet holds it on rather than a thread, so it lifts off easily and is easy to lose. Boundless sells a Vexil mouthpiece replacement covering the whole assembly, along with mouthpiece and chamber screens, the only Vexil parts it lists.
Does the Boundless Vexil work with a water pipe?
No. Boundless makes water pipe adapters for the CF and CFX, the CFX+ and the Tera, but never one for the Vexil, and the magnetic mouthpiece has no joint to adapt.
Can you use concentrates or dosing pods in the Vexil?
No to both. Boundless sells concentrate pods and a dry herb pod for the CF and CFX line but nothing that fits the Vexil, and its warranty excludes damage from wax or oil loaded without proper pods.
How long does the Vexil last on a charge?
Boundless lists an internal 1800mAh cell and around six sessions per charge, filled over USB-C from a standard 5V outlet or brick. The manual asks for a cool down after two back to back sessions. Holding power for three seconds pauses and resumes a session.
What warranty does the Boundless Vexil carry?
Boundless honours three years where the packaging says so, against a one year standard, and covers the battery for 30 days. Reseller purchases go through that reseller, Amazon and eBay units are not covered, and you pay postage on a warranty shipment.

Cleaning the Boundless Vexil vaporizer involves several straightforward steps to ensure its optimal performance and longevity. It's a good idea to brush out the chamber when the device has cooled in between sessions, but you will still need to perform deeper cleans regularly.

Disassembly for Cleaning: Begin by removing the mouthpiece from the unit. This simple step is crucial for accessing the internal components that need cleaning.

Cleaning the Herb Chamber: Use the provided cleaning brush to gently brush the inside of the oven. This step is to remove any residual herb left from previous sessions. Be thorough but gentle to avoid damaging the oven.

Replacing and Cleaning Screens: If your screen hasn't been replaced for a while, now is a good time to do it. After brushing, tip the oven upside down to remove any excess spent material. Replacement screens can be purchased as needed. Screens can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol or even just alcohol swabs.
