A ceramic conduction oven bakes residue onto the walls rather than into an air path, so the chamber and the mouthpiece screen are the two things that matter.

Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)

1. Let the chamber cool: Ceramic holds heat, so give it a minute before you put a brush anywhere near it.
2. Tip out and brush the oven: Empty the spent herb and sweep the ceramic walls with a soft brush so nothing bakes on next session.
3. Check the mouthpiece screen: A tight draw almost always means this screen has clogged. Brush it clear before the next load.

Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Sessions)

1. Remove the mouthpiece and screen: Take them off the body so you can reach both sides of the screen.
2. Soak the screen and metal parts: Isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes lifts baked residue, then rinse in warm water and dry fully.
3. Swab the ceramic chamber: Use a cotton swab dampened with rubbing alcohol on the chamber walls and base, holding the device upside down so nothing runs into the heater. Do not pour alcohol into the oven.
4. Clean the bubbler if you use one: The optional glass bubbler and 14mm adapter clean with warm water or alcohol. Rinse and dry them completely before refitting.
5. Run one empty cycle: Reassemble, then run a short session at high temperature with nothing loaded to burn off any residual alcohol before you use it again.

Care Tips for Better Results

• A medium, even grind extracts better in a conduction oven than a coarse one. See our grind guide.
• Pack the half gram chamber to fit your session. A big oven left half empty tends to scorch the material against the walls.
• Give the device a gentle shake between draws so the load moves and heats evenly.
• Keep alcohol away from the painted body and use a barely damp cloth on the outside instead.

The Vital makes sense for someone buying their first adjustable vaporizer. By-degree control at this price is unusual, and it lets you work through the range described in our temperature guide instead of being stuck with four or five presets. The half gram ceramic oven is also generous for the money, which makes it a reasonable option for session style vaping or for sharing, and the five or ten minute timer means you are not watching the clock. The limits show up once you use it regularly.
