XVape Vista Mini 2

The Vista Mini 2 stacks a crystal quartz atomizer over a glass bubbler, so residue lands in two places: the shallow atomizer chamber the concentrate sits in, and the glass discovery carb cap above it. The bubbler water below picks up particulates that cloud the glass if left standing.

1. Swab the chamber after every dab. XVape's manual asks for a cotton swab through the heating atomizer chamber after each use, then air drying or a soft cloth. The case ships three cotton swabs and three alcohol pads for this. Let the element cool first; the manual warns against touching the heater after a session.

2. Burn off what the swab misses. With nothing loaded, run a session or two at the top red setting, 400C, and watch the stains lift off the quartz. Cool it fully before disassembly.

3. Separate the glass from the base. Pull the mouthpiece off the joint and tip out the water. Lift off the carb cap, twist the heating atomizer counterclockwise, then hold the battery base and turn the bubbler and its black silicone ring counterclockwise. Unscrew the metal oven base between coil and glass and lift the bubbler clear.

4. Strip the seals, then soak. The black ring on the oven base and the small clear O-ring at its end come off first and need only a wipe. Bubbler, carb cap, mouthpiece and oven base all tolerate isopropyl: half an hour for routine grime, overnight for baked-on spots. Rinse in hot water and dry fully.

5. Never wet the battery section. The manual forbids submerging the battery or cleaning it with water or isopropyl, and the heating element comes off before cleaning starts. An alcohol pad on the base and power button is as wet as it gets. Fill the bubbler to the red line off the base, never while attached.

6. Rebuild without overtightening. Match the three grooves in the black ring to the three ridges on the oven base, fit the clear O-ring to the longest protruding end, then screw the oven base clockwise onto the bubbler and the atomizer onto that. Forcing the coil tight can short it, shown by five flashes of the power light.

Maintenance Beyond Cleaning

A spare AIO quartz atomizer comes in the case. Unscrew the old one and press the new one down slightly as you thread it, since both battery and coil use a spring thread. Thin vapor usually means an air leak: fit the small white O-ring to the bottom of the battery base centre pillar and check the silicone connect ring is tight. Empty the bubbler daily, and never store the device below 2 percent charge: XVape says the battery then stops accepting one.
