Tafee Bowle Series 2

Nearly all the residue on a Bowle collects on parts that come out: the ceramic pot, its gasket, the stem and the mouthpiece. The puck itself only wants wiping. Tafee is specific about which parts tolerate alcohol and which do not, so follow that split rather than soaking everything together.

Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)

1. Let the pot cool and empty it: Lift the stem out of the puck and tip the spent material from the ceramic oven pot.
2. Brush the pot: The ceramic pot brush in the maintenance kit clears residue from the pot and the stainless steel screen in its base.
3. Wipe the puck: Use a clean soft fibre cloth on the outside. Disconnect the charger from the socket first.

Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Sessions)

1. Break it down: Separate the stem from the puck, then take the ceramic pot and the mouthpiece off the stem.
2. Remove the pot gasket: Slide the silicone gasket off the ceramic pot and keep it somewhere safe. If it is not refitted afterwards the pot will not seal and the Bowle will not draw.
3. Soak the pots and stem only: Immerse them in 70 to 90 percent isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. The stem can lie flat with the lower pot housing submerged for up to 12 hours.
4. Wash the mouthpieces and gaskets separately: These should not go in alcohol. Use warm water with a mild dish detergent, then rinse for at least five minutes.
5. Rinse, dry and reassemble: Rinse in warm water, dry with an absorbent cloth, and blow air through the stem so no water stays inside.

Care Tips for Better Results

• Never touch the oven bay screen in the puck's stem slot. Tafee states damage to it is not covered by the warranty.
• Do not unscrew or disassemble the base of the stem.
• Pack pots to about three quarters full. Overpacking is the usual reason material chars and vapor thins out.
• The drinkware washes in warm water with a mild detergent and can be dried with a microfibre cloth.
• Do not boil accessories or leave them in hot water, since heat can deform them.

The Bowle suits someone who vapes at a table and wants very small, repeatable doses without waiting on a heater. Each ceramic pot takes about a tenth of a gram, the shredder fills four at a time, and vapor is available roughly a second after you press the button, which makes it one of the more genuinely on-demand devices you can buy. Convection through an isolated air path plus internal heat sinks means the vapor stays cool and tastes clean, so it belongs on our flavour chasers and microdosing lists rather than any cloud chasing one.

The catches are cost, size and workflow. At $449 it is squarely premium, the puck is 246 grams and too wide for a pocket, and there is no numeric temperature control, only five power levels. You also have to prepare pots ahead of time, which is fine at home and awkward otherwise. Cleaning involves separating pots, gaskets, stem and mouthpieces, so it asks more of you than a single chamber portable.
