Linx Eden FAQs

What is the Linx Eden's chamber made of?

All quartz, 13mm across and 11mm deep, feeding a glass mouthpiece tube. Linx runs true convection with air insulation and nothing synthetic in the vapor path, though the steel body warms in use, hence the included silicone sleeve.

How do the Eden's lava plates work?

Spread extract about the size of a grain of rice onto one of three included steel plates, lay a second over it, load the chamber halfway with herb and set the pair on top. On flower only runs, one plate over loose herb improves airflow and slows clogging.

Why does my Eden stop making vapor at temperature?

Linx points first at the mouthpiece filter section, the one screen every draw passes through. The others are packing tightly, which starves a convection oven of airflow, and covering the three vertical air holes on the casing.

How many temperature settings does the Eden have?

Four. Five quick clicks start heating, three quick clicks cycle presets: blue 360°F (182°C), green 380°F (193°C), yellow 400°F (204°C), red 428°F (220°C). Lights blink while heating, go solid at temperature, then it shuts off four minutes later.

Why does my Eden flash four lights on the charger?

Linx calls that an overdrained battery and says to leave it on the USB-C charger over eight hours to revive the cell. A normal full charge takes three to four hours; if the long one fails, the one year warranty applies.

Why will the Eden's mouthpiece not screw on flush?

Tapping it on a table to empty the chamber, or dropping it, presses the top thread into the shell so the cap cannot catch. Linx publishes a fix: grip the cap's lower lip from inside with pliers, pulling gently around the rim until thread shows.

How does the Eden differ from the Eden Switch?

The Switch replaced it on the Linx store, swapping the fixed quartz chamber for a removable quartz dosing capsule and selling lava plates separately rather than including them. Accessories such as the water pipe adapter and charging dock fit either.

Linx Eden Cleaning & Maintenance

The Eden's quartz oven is small, 13mm across and 11mm deep, and every bit of vapor the convection air pulls out of it passes through one metal filter screen at the base of the mouthpiece. That screen is where this device chokes. Linx says weak vapor once the Eden has hit temperature is almost always a clogged mouthpiece filter rather than a heating fault.

  1. Power down and let it cool: The manual says to clean only with the device off and fully cooled, and warns that the atomizer area stays hot after a session.

  2. Unscrew the mouthpiece: It threads off the body the same way it does for loading. It then splits into two halves: the metal section, holding the filter section and filter screen, and the glass section, which is a quartz glass tube seated in a metal fitting.

  3. Open the filter section: Linx has you use a small screwdriver to unscrew the filter section from the metal mouthpiece section, then soak both pieces in isopropyl. Their instructions range from about one hour to two, so anywhere in between is fine, and finish with a cotton swab.

  4. Clean the glass separately: Pull the quartz tube out of its fitting and work a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl over the inside and outside of the tube and the metal base until clear.

  5. Brush the quartz chamber: Sweep the spent material out with the supplied Eden brush, then swab the chamber interior with a swab that is damp rather than dripping. Keep alcohol away from the three vertical air holes in the steel casing.

  6. Swap screens rather than scrub them: The manual treats the filter and screen as replaceable and the box ships four spare screens. Gaia filter screens and the Gaia mouthpiece filter do not fit the Eden, so order Eden parts.

  7. Soak the lava plates: The stainless steel plates go into isopropyl for one hour, then want about fifteen minutes to air dry before their next use.

Linx asks for the mouthpiece filter to be cleaned every two or three bowls. Empty the chamber by tapping into your hand, because knocking the Eden on a table is what presses the top thread into the shell and leaves the cap sitting proud. Setting one lava plate on top of loosely packed herb also keeps that filter clear for longer. For the battery, allow three to four hours to charge, do not vape while it is plugged in and do not leave it charging overnight. If it flashes all four LEDs then dies, leave it on charge for more than eight hours to bring an overdrained cell back.
