JCVAP Herbcloud Crown Overview
The JCVAP Herbcloud Crown is the 2026 kit for the Pockety Herbcloud, a battery powered ball vape built on the same Pockety base JCVAP sells as an electric dab rig. The Herbcloud atomizer is a ceramic 3D heater with a PT1000 temperature sensor, and the Crown is its new loader: a grade 2 titanium cap with a walnut handle that holds 300 x 2mm ruby or SiC pearls above the herb. Air drawn down through the hot pearls reaches the herb already heated, then cools through a water glass on the base, so every hit comes through water like a small rig.
Key Features & Benefits of the JCVAP Herbcloud Crown
The base runs on two 18650 cells in series. JCVAP says every Pockety has shipped with 3200mAh cells instead of 2500mAh since March 2026, and quotes up to 12 sessions per charge. A colour screen and three buttons set the temperature from 212°F to 500°F (100°C to 260°C), JCVAP lists a 65 second preheat, and the base vibrates when it is ready. The Crown seals more tightly than the original Herbcloud loader and lifts straight out, so you can take it off between draws to stop the herb cooking, and its square handle lets it stand upside down without rolling.
What Comes with the JCVAP Herbcloud Crown?
The kit is $156 with ruby pearls or $179 with SiC pearls:
- Pockety Herbcloud Crown: battery base, Herbcloud atomizer, titanium Crown loader with walnut handle and water glass
- 300 x 2mm ruby or SiC pearls
- Hair brush
- Stainless steel brush
- USB-C cable
- Leather case
- User manual
JCVAP still sells the earlier Herbcloud chamber kits on the same base: the Quartz Chamber Edition with a quartz dosing capsule from $128, and the Titan and Ceramic Infusion kits from $141. Existing Herbcloud owners can add the Crown Cap alone from $16 or the Crown atomizer for $81. JCVAP's 2-in-1 kits, which pair the ICA 5D V2 concentrate atomizer with the older Titan or Quartz chamber rather than the Crown, start at $228, and four clicks of the power button switch the base between dry herb and concentrate modes.
Using the JCVAP Herbcloud Crown
JCVAP loads the Crown by tipping ground herb onto a tray and pressing the open end of the cap into it, which fills it evenly without overpacking. Add only a little water to the glass, just above the groove marked inside it, since too much restricts airflow. Hold the power button to turn the base on, set your temperature and double-tap to heat. When it reaches temperature the base vibrates and the light flashes twice; JCVAP suggests waiting about 10 more seconds, then taking slow, gentle draws so the air has time to pick up heat from the pearls.
One owner reviewing it on JCVAP's store runs 410°F for flavour and 455°F to 467°F for thick clouds and a dark roast, and gets about 10 sessions a charge. For a smaller pocket ball vape from JCVAP, see the Poby Ember, or take the Crown Cap off the base entirely with the JCVAP Crown Ball Vape kit.

JCVAP Herbcloud Crown FAQs
What is the difference between the Herbcloud Crown and the Pockety Herbcloud?
They share the same Pockety base and Herbcloud atomizer. The Crown is a newer loader: a titanium cap with a walnut handle that seals more tightly, sits deeper in the atomizer and lifts out between draws. The original kits use Quartz, Titan or Ceramic chambers instead, and the Quartz edition includes a dosing capsule. JCVAP says all Pockety bases have shipped with the larger 3200mAh cells since March 2026, so the battery should be the same whichever kit you buy, even though some older kit listings still quote 2600mAh.
What temperatures does the Herbcloud Crown run at?
The base sets anywhere from 212°F to 500°F (100°C to 260°C). JCVAP ran its own battery tests at 446°F with 120 second cycles, and one owner uses 410°F for flavour and 455°F to 467°F for denser clouds. Our guide to what temperature to vape flower covers what changes across that range.
How long does the battery last?
JCVAP quotes up to 12 sessions per charge from two 3200mAh 18650 cells in series, which it measured as about two more sessions than the older 2500mAh cells. It charges over USB-C. Our battery life guide has tips for keeping cells healthy.
Should I choose ruby or SiC pearls?
Ruby is the cheaper option at $156 for the kit, and SiC pearls take it to $179. The Herbcloud also accepts Diamondium pearls, which JCVAP sells separately. JCVAP's own advice is that more pearls improve performance, and that filling around three quarters of the space is the best balance of results and cost.
Can the Herbcloud Crown be used for concentrates?
Not as it ships. The Herbcloud atomizer and Crown loader are made for dry herb. The Pockety base is also JCVAP's electric dab rig, so swapping the Herbcloud for the separate ICA 5D V2 concentrate atomizer turns it into one. Four clicks of the power button change the base between dry herb and concentrate modes, and JCVAP's 2-in-1 kits with both atomizers start at $228. Those pair the concentrate atomizer with the older Titan or Quartz chamber; there is no Crown version yet.
How do you load the Herbcloud Crown?
Pour ground herb onto a tray and press the open end of the Crown cap into it until it fills, then fit the cap into the atomizer. That avoids overpacking, which matters because a ball vape relies on airflow. A medium grind works best; see our grind guide.
How much water goes in the glass?
Only a little. JCVAP says to fill it just above the groove marked inside the glass, because too much water restricts airflow. Keep it level when you set it down, and our guide on vaping through water explains what the water does to the hit.
What warranty does the Herbcloud Crown have?
JCVAP's store terms allow returns of unused items within three days of delivery and a free replacement if a part fails within 30 days of normal use. In 2025 JCVAP also stated a 180 day warranty on the Pockety base and kits and 90 days on Herbcloud chambers, so keep your order details and confirm the current terms with JCVAP if you need to claim.

JCVAP Herbcloud Crown Cleaning & Maintenance
The Herbcloud Crown has three areas to look after: the titanium Crown loader and the pearls inside it, the atomizer it sits in, and the water glass. The pearls darken as resin builds up, and JCVAP suggests cleaning the Crown every one to two days for heavy use, every three to five days for moderate use and weekly for light use.
Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)
- Let it cool first: The atomizer and the titanium loader stay hot after a cycle. Lift the Crown out by its wooden handle and stand it upside down on its square handle.
- Empty the loader: Tip the spent herb out of the open end of the Crown while it is still loose.
- Brush the atomizer: Use the included hair brush or stainless brush to clear loose herb from the atomizer before the next load.
- Change the water: Empty and refill the glass so stale water does not carry over into the next session.
Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Days)
- Take out the pearls: Unscrew the top of the Crown and let the pearls fall out into a cup.
- Rinse through the loader: Pour a little isopropyl alcohol over the pearls held in the Crown, with a cup underneath, and shake gently to loosen oil and residue.
- Soak for about five minutes: Screw the top back on and swirl the Crown in isopropyl. JCVAP warns against soaking longer than 30 minutes because it can affect the seals.
- Air dry everything: Let the Crown stand for 5 to 10 minutes, then pour the pearls onto a clean plate and let them dry completely. Do not wipe the pearls with a cloth or paper towel, which can leave fibres or scratch them.
- Clean the glass: Wash the water glass with isopropyl and coarse salt or warm soapy water, then rinse it well before refilling.
- Reassemble: Once nothing smells of alcohol, pour the pearls back in, screw the top on and fit the Crown back into the atomizer.
Care Tips for Better Results
- Do not burn or heat the pearls clean. JCVAP says high heat damages their surface and lowers how well they transfer heat.
- Keep liquid away from the battery base and wipe its screen with a cloth that is only lightly dampened.
- Replace the Crown's silicone o-ring if it hardens or tears, since the seal is what keeps air moving through the pearls.
- Do not overpack the loader. Our guide on packing a dry herb vaporizer explains why airflow matters.
- For general technique, read our guide on how to clean a dry herb vaporizer.
Learn More About JCVAP Herbcloud Crown
The Herbcloud Crown is for someone who wants ball vape hits without a PID, a coil or a torch. Everything runs from the battery with a set temperature and a timed cycle, so the routine is closer to a portable e-rig than to a desktop baller, and the water glass makes the hits easy to take. It is also flexible for the price. The same base runs JCVAP's concentrate atomizer, the Crown cap doubles as a standalone ball head in the JCVAP Crown Ball Vape kit, and the pearls can be swapped between ruby, SiC and Diamondium. If you mostly vape through water and want something you can carry, it is one of the few battery ball vapes on the market.
The trade-offs come from the format. JCVAP lists it at 185mm tall and 670 grams, so it is a bag device rather than a pocket one, and the glass and water mean it wants a flat surface between draws. Its 500°F ceiling also sits below the set points desktop ball vapes run at. If you want something smaller from JCVAP, look at the Poby Ember, and for a conventional portable with water pipe support, our water pipe compatible vaporizers list is a good place to compare.
