AUXO Celsius FAQs

How much does the Celsius oven hold?

AUXO puts the dry herb fill at 0.3g, loosely packed to the rim and never above the black line inside the oven, with a medium grind that is crumbled, not powdery. Concentrates use the separate double sided chamber that drops into the oven, 0.05g in one side only.

What are the AUXO Celsius temperature presets?

Setting 1 is 190°C (374°F), setting 2 is 200°C (392°F), setting 3 is 220°C (428°F), and setting 4 is 260°C (500°F), which AUXO lists for concentrates rather than flower. Pro Mode adds a fifth position spanning 140°C to 260°C.

Do I need the AUXO app?

Only for fine control. The presets are selected on the device, but an exact temperature or a Pro Mode heating curve of 40 to 180 seconds needs the app, All-On Browser on iOS and AUXO Connect on Android.

How long is a Celsius session?

Preset sessions run three minutes. The ring light turns green when preheating ends and back to blue at the finish, and holding plus again runs another on the same load. AUXO rates a charge at about nine sessions and 90 minutes to refill over USB-C. It cannot be used while charging.

Why is the vapour from the Celsius so thin?

Normal for this one. Our review found the airflow tight and the vapour sparse even at high settings, yet the material came out well extracted, with strong flavour and little harshness at the top of the range.

Can I use the AUXO Celsius with a water pipe?

Not really. Our review found no adapter made for the Celsius, and the tight airflow plus the magnetic mouthpiece make it a poor fit for water pipe use.

What does the AUXO warranty leave out?

The stated term has moved: the 2023 manual gives ten years, while AUXO's current manual and site FAQ give two. Cover runs to the original purchaser only and is void on units bought from unauthorised resellers. The cable, adapter, loading tool, concentrate chamber, brush, tweezers and swabs are all excluded.

AUXO Celsius Cleaning & Maintenance

The Celsius collects residue in two places. The zirconia mouthpiece carries an extended air path folded inside it for vapour cooling, so condensate settles along its length rather than at the tip, and the top plate around the oven traps loose herb in its corners during loading. That second problem matters, because AUXO asks for the oven rim and surrounding surfaces to be free of debris so the magnetic mouthpiece seats tightly.

  1. Power down and let it cool: AUXO states that no cleaning is done until the device is switched off and back at room temperature. The oven and the concentrate insert both hold heat well after a session at the 500°F concentrate preset.

  2. Lift the mouthpiece clear: Rotate it 180 degrees and pull straight up to release it from the magnets. Our review noted the zirconia section is the only practical grip for this, so pull evenly rather than rocking it.

  3. Brush the oven out: After dry herb, sweep the supplied cleaning brush through the bowl, then take it around the rim and the corners of the top plate where fragments gather. Follow with a cotton swab dipped in 90 percent isopropyl and wipe the oven walls clean.

  4. Lift the concentrate insert with the tweezers: The concentrate chamber is a separate double sided insert that drops into the oven, and AUXO wants it removed with the included tweezers onto a flat surface. Wipe it with a dry swab first, then an isopropyl swab, then a dry swab again. Only one side is ever loaded, so the other stays clean.

  5. Run the brush through the mouthpiece: For routine cleaning, push the brush into the gap in the mouthpiece, work it to the end and draw it back and forth. Surfaces take a cotton pad damp with 90 percent isopropyl.

  6. Strip it to six parts occasionally: Lifting the silicone component beneath the protruding filter piece separates the mouthpiece into six pieces, which can then be submerged in 90 percent isopropyl and wiped dry with swabs. Reassemble only once every part is fully dry.

  7. Keep liquid off the base: The battery section must never be placed in liquid of any kind. Isopropyl is flammable, so let everything dry completely before heating again.

Brush the oven after each use and strip the mouthpiece every week or two. The five swabs in the box go quickly, and the brush, tweezers, loading tool and concentrate chamber all fall outside AUXO's warranty, so buy spares rather than forcing a clogged part. Charge between 10°C and 45°C, store the device near 20°C away from sunlight and damp, and keep the AUXO app current since Pro Mode depends on it.
