The Faze breaks down into five pieces: the body, the magnetic mouthpiece, a plastic filter insert, a metal screen and a white screen. Wulf's own guidance is that residue in those three small mouthpiece parts is the usual reason a Faze stops hitting properly, so they are the parts worth attention rather than the chamber alone.

Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)

1. Power the device off: Five presses of the power button. It vibrates and shuts down.
2. Let the chamber cool: Do not brush or swab it while it is still warm from a session.
3. Empty the chamber: Lift the magnetic mouthpiece and use the included brush to scoop the spent material out.
4. Brush the screen: A quick pass across the mouthpiece screen keeps the draw open for the next load.

Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Sessions)

1. Strip the mouthpiece: Take the plastic insert, the metal screen and the white screen out of the magnetic mouthpiece so each one can be cleaned on its own.
2. Swab the three mouthpiece parts: Use cotton swabs dampened with isopropyl alcohol on the insert and both screens, working off any stickiness. Five swabs come in the box.
3. Soak anything stubborn: Wulf allows the mouthpiece and screens to sit in an isopropyl bath if swabbing is not enough.
4. Clean the chamber: Brush it out, then wipe the walls with an alcohol dampened swab. Keep the swab damp rather than wet, and hold the device so nothing runs down into the heater.
5. Dry completely before reassembly: Wulf is emphatic about this, because a part put back damp risks a short. Once dry, drop the white screen into the plastic insert, fit the metal screen behind it facing down, then refit the mouthpiece.

Care Tips for Better Results

• Empty the chamber after every session and do the full strip down every few weeks.
• Use isopropyl alcohol rather than water. Water does not shift resin.
• Fill the chamber to at least 60 percent with a medium grind, packed so air still passes. See our grind guide.

The Faze is aimed at someone who wants a dry herb device to run itself. Load the chamber, press twice, wait 20 seconds and draw for three minutes.
