Transient Mist Flow Pro

Transient Mist Flow Pro Overview

Warning

Transient Mist is a very new company and little is known about it. It has not named the business or people behind it, and at least one store it lists as a partner says it has no connection with the brand, so its legitimacy should be questioned for now. To be safe, wait for independent reviews or an established retailer before buying, and only pay with a method that offers buyer protection.

The Transient Mist Flow Pro is a portable dry herb vaporizer and one of the first two devices from Transient Mist, launching alongside the T Vibe on October 10, 2026. Its heater is a rolled cylinder of 0.05mm SUS316L stainless steel foil, which Transient Mist says reaches 200°C (392°F) in 3 to 6 seconds, with a machined aluminum bowl above it that holds the herb and spreads the heat around it. The bowl takes loose herb or a pre-filled dosing capsule, and air reaches it through a separate CNC-machined PEEK airpath.

What Comes with the Transient Mist Flow Pro?

Transient Mist lists the Flow Pro in black, as a battery-free version for $236 or a battery version for $248. The box contains:

  • Flow Pro vaporizer
  • Molicel 18650 battery (battery version only)
  • Two 16mm glass tubes
  • 14mm and 18mm water pipe adapters
  • Cleaning brush
  • Silicone O-ring set
  • Mesh screen set
  • Accessory kit
  • USB-C cable
  • User manual

The manual's own contents list also includes a cooling bead and O-ring set, three screen sets and a storage pouch. The battery details differ between Transient Mist's documents: the product page lists a Molicel P30B rated at 3000mAh, while the manual names a Molicel P28A rated at 2800mAh. Either way it is a removable 18650, and the manual says any replacement must handle at least a 10C discharge.

Using the Transient Mist Flow Pro

To load it, twist the cooling head off with a gentle half turn rather than pulling it straight up, which Transient Mist says wears out the O-ring. Fill the chamber with finely ground herb, keep it below the top edge, flatten it lightly, brush any loose bits off the rim, and twist the cooling head back on. Transient Mist says the chamber has a defined capacity to help you load the same amount each time, and a dosing capsule can go in its place. Our guide to dosing capsules explains how they work.

Four buttons (fire, toggle, plus and minus) and a 0.96-inch colour OLED run the Flow Pro. Press fire three times quickly to turn it on. In session mode a single press heats to a fixed temperature between 40°C and 220°C (104°F and 428°F) for a countdown you can set from 100 to 500 seconds, and in on-demand mode it heats only while you hold the button, from 40°C to 240°C (104°F to 464°F). The screen turns orange while heating and green, with a vibration, at temperature, and holding minus for three seconds switches to 5°C steps. The settings menu covers °C or °F, vibration, brightness and a 180° screen rotation. Our guide to session vs on-demand vaporizers explains the two styles.

The Flow Pro charges over USB-C at 5V/2A, and heating is locked while the cable is connected. Transient Mist's manual warns that vapor made above 210°C (410°F) is very irritating and suggests water cooling for those temperatures, which the included 14mm and 18mm adapters allow.

Transient Mist Flow Pro vs T Vibe

The Flow Pro launched alongside the T Vibe, and the two share a 0.05mm foil heater, the 40°C to 240°C range, session and on-demand modes and a 0.96-inch OLED screen. The Flow Pro is the one with the aluminum bowl, capsule loading, a fourth button and an 18650 battery. The T Vibe is full convection, loads into a glass tube, has a viewing window and adjustable airflow, and uses a larger 21700 cell. Our Flow Pro vs T Vibe comparison lines up the full specs.

Transient Mist Flow Pro FAQs

How much does the Transient Mist Flow Pro cost?

Transient Mist's site lists the Flow Pro at $236 for the battery-free version and $248 with a Molicel 18650 battery, in black, with October 10, 2026 as the launch date. The prices are shown with a dollar sign, but the store's checkout is set to Australian dollars, so check the currency before paying.

Where can you buy the Flow Pro?

At launch, the only seller is Transient Mist's own website. Canadian retailer Soothing Vapours has said it tested prototypes and expects its first stock in mid-October 2026. Transient Mist's site also lists several US and UK stores as partners, but VGoodiEZ, one of them, has said publicly that it has no connection with the brand, so check with a store directly rather than relying on that list.

Is Transient Mist a legitimate company?

It is too early to say. Transient Mist has not named the company or people behind it, and the only contact details on its site are an email address and a Hong Kong WhatsApp number. Its website went live with pages left over from Mad Heaters' Tempest 2 manual, store policies that contradict its product pages, and a partner list that at least one named store disputes. Until independent reviews and established retailers appear, treat it with caution and only pay with a method that offers buyer protection.

Is the Flow Pro convection or hybrid?

Transient Mist does not put a label on it, but its description fits a hybrid. The foil heater warms the air drawn through the herb, and the aluminum bowl holding the herb absorbs heat from the heater, spreads it evenly and, in Transient Mist's words, acts as a buffer against temperature swings as you draw. That combination of hot air and a heated bowl is why we list it as a hybrid, while Transient Mist calls the T Vibe full convection. Our guide to convection vs conduction explains the difference.

Can the Flow Pro use dosing capsules?

Yes. Transient Mist says the chamber takes either loose herb or a pre-filled capsule, but it has not said which capsule size or brand fits. Our guide to dosing capsules covers why people use them.

What battery does the Flow Pro use?

A removable 18650. The product page lists a Molicel P30B rated at 3000mAh, while the manual names a Molicel P28A rated at 2800mAh and 35A continuous. For the battery-free version, the manual says any cell you buy must handle at least a 10C discharge. Twist off the bottom cap to swap it and fit the cell with the positive end facing down. Transient Mist has not published a sessions-per-charge figure. Our guide to vaporizer battery life covers caring for removable cells.

What temperatures does the Flow Pro use?

Session mode runs from 40°C to 220°C (104°F to 428°F) with a countdown of 100 to 500 seconds, and on-demand mode runs from 40°C to 240°C (104°F to 464°F) for as long as you hold the button. You can switch the display between °C and °F. Our temperature guide explains what different settings change.

Can the Flow Pro be used with a water pipe?

Yes. It comes with 14mm and 18mm water pipe adapters, and our guide to dry herb vaping with a water pipe explains how to set one up.

How do you calibrate the Flow Pro?

Transient Mist suggests calibrating after 2,000 to 3,000 heat cycles, or sooner if vapor or flavour changes at the same settings. Deep clean it first and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Then hold the power and plus buttons together until it vibrates, press power three times to open calibration, and press it once more to calibrate automatically. The manual says a TCR value of 96 or 97 is normal. Press power five times to turn it off.

What warranty does the Flow Pro have?

The manual gives a 24-month limited warranty from the purchase date. It excludes batteries, O-rings, screens and glass mouthpieces, and it is void after unauthorized disassembly or modification, with the manual singling out the five main fastening screws as ones not to loosen. Transient Mist's store terms are stricter: they say it does not accept returns or give refunds on new and unused devices, does not repair damaged devices or supply spare parts, and only replaces damaged, incorrect or incomplete orders reported to hello@transientmist.com within two days of delivery.

Transient Mist Flow Pro Cleaning & Maintenance

Transient Mist says every Flow Pro is cleaned before it ships, but its manual still asks you to clean the parts with a cotton swab before the first session. After that it suggests a quick clean every 30 uses and a deep clean every 60 to 80.

Quick Cleaning (Every 30 Uses)

  1. Let it cool: The chamber and cooling head stay hot after use, so wait before handling them.
  2. Clean the cooling head: Spray isopropyl alcohol inside it, wipe it out and let it dry completely.
  3. Swab the chamber: Clean the heating chamber and the body around it with a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl.
  4. Wipe the outside: Clean the mouthpiece and the outside of the chamber with a cleaning wipe.

Deep Cleaning (Every 60 to 80 Uses)

  1. Strip the removable parts: Take off every detachable part, twisting the cooling head off rather than pulling it. Never soak the main body in liquid.
  2. Soak them in isopropyl: Seal the parts in a bag with 99% isopropyl alcohol for at least 30 minutes, shaking it now and then. Do not leave plastic parts in alcohol for longer than that.
  3. Rinse and repeat: Drain the alcohol, rinse the parts in warm water, then dip them in fresh isopropyl for one more minute.
  4. Dry fully: Wipe everything with a soft cloth and let it air dry before reassembly.
  5. Clean the chamber: Turn the Flow Pro on, heat it to 60°C (140°F), and wipe the inside with an isopropyl swab, then with a water-dampened swab to remove the alcohol. A small amount of lubricant or wax on the heating chamber O-ring makes reassembly easier.

Screens and O-Rings

  • To change a screen, remove the cooling head and push the screen out by hand, with tweezers or with the cleaning brush. The chamber screen comes out the same way. Fit the new one flat in its groove, then refit the O-ring. Fine screens belong in the heating chamber and coarse screens in the cooling head.
  • Pinch the heating chamber O-ring free or lift it with plastic tweezers. Push the cooling head O-ring out with the stir rod through the small maintenance hole on the side of the cooling head. Never pry O-rings out with sharp metal tools.
  • Ultrasonic cleaning is fine for the plastic parts and screens but not for the aluminum lock rings.
  • Clean the body and USB-C cable with a dry or slightly damp cloth only.

For general technique, read our guide on how to clean a dry herb vaporizer.

Learn More About Transient Mist Flow Pro

On paper the Flow Pro is aimed at people who want a compact portable with a quick heat-up, the option of loading capsules, and parts they can maintain themselves. The aluminum bowl is what sets it apart from the T Vibe: Transient Mist designed it to hold the herb, spread the heat and steady the temperature as you draw. Like the T Vibe, it uses a standard removable battery, keeps the battery compartment separate from the heating chamber, and has a manual that covers screen and O-ring changes and temperature calibration. Its store terms currently cut against that, though, saying it does not repair damaged devices or supply spare parts.

There are a few things to know before buying. It cannot be used while it charges, its 18650 is smaller than the 21700 in the T Vibe, the battery-free version needs a high-drain cell bought separately, and Transient Mist has not published a battery life figure or said which capsules fit. It is also brand new, so there are no independent reviews or long-term owner reports yet, and little is known about the company behind it.

Other devices on this site with a similar spec sheet include the Frolic Thermal Extractor, which also pairs session and demand modes with a 40°C to 240°C range, and the AirVape Legacy Pro, a hybrid portable with dosing capsules and a removable battery. If you would rather have full convection and adjustable airflow from the same maker, look at the Transient Mist T Vibe.
