The Ruby Twist is SZ Crossing's ruby-core take on the Twist injector. A bed of gem-cut rubies sits inside the grade 2 titanium housing, heated by a 20mm coil and Micro PID controller. The swirl-style airflow pulls air around the ruby reservoir for quick saturation and thick vapor without needing to stir between hits. With the ruby core holding heat so well, the Ruby Twist likes a lower range than the Thermal Twist. Most users hover between 450°F and 650°F, with the standard bowl feeling dialed around the high 570s. It handles everything from 0.05 g tester bowls to roughly 0.4 g, and the side-carb glass bowl makes it easy to clear without moving the injector. One downside of the Ruby Twist though is the airflow can be a little restrictive, but this will only bother those overly senstivie to flow restriction.

Using the Ruby Twist
The injector ships pre-assembled, so it's essentially plug, set, and go. Let the coil and ruby bed soak for a few minutes after the Micro PID hits temp; that warm-up gives the most even extractions. The twist-style airflow keeps the load moving so you can session without stirring, and the silicone coil handle plus steel stand make it easy to park the heater between draws.
For flavor-forward hits, start in the low 500s and work up. Full bowls usually like a PID setting in the upper 570s, while denser extractions live closer to 600°F. The glass bowl's side carb helps clear the rig quickly, and swapping to a smaller bowl makes microdoses just as consistent as full loads.
