Transient Mist T Vibe

Transient Mist T Vibe Overview

Warning

Transient Mist is a very new company and little is known about it. It has not named the business or people behind it, and at least one store it lists as a partner says it has no connection with the brand, so its legitimacy should be questioned for now. To be safe, wait for independent reviews or an established retailer before buying, and only pay with a method that offers buyer protection.

The Transient Mist T Vibe, also written TVibe, is a portable full-convection dry herb vaporizer and one of the first two devices from Transient Mist, which set October 10, 2026 as its launch date. Its heater is a single sheet of 0.05mm SUS316L stainless steel foil rolled into a 10-turn cylinder, which Transient Mist says reaches 200°C (392°F) in 3 to 6 seconds. Herb sits in the screened end of a standard 16mm glass tube, heated air reaches it through a separate CNC-machined PEEK airpath, and a window in the side of the body lets you watch the herb while it heats.

What Comes with the Transient Mist T Vibe?

Transient Mist lists the T Vibe in black or translucent, each as a battery-free version for $215 or a battery version for $228. The box contains:

  • T Vibe vaporizer
  • Molicel P50B 21700 battery (battery version only)
  • Two 16mm glass tubes
  • 14mm and 18mm water pipe adapters
  • Cleaning brush
  • Silicone O-ring set
  • Mesh screen set
  • USB-C cable
  • User manual

The battery-free version needs a 21700 cell bought separately. The manual names the Molicel P45B and P50B and says any other 21700 must be rated for at least a 12C discharge and 40A continuous, while 18650 cells are not compatible. The black version uses a PC and PEEK body and the translucent one PPSU and PEEK, and Transient Mist says the exterior parts are interchangeable if you want to change the look.

Using the Transient Mist T Vibe

To load it, turn the T Vibe upside down so the glass tube points at the floor, pull the tube out, and fill only its screened end. Transient Mist asks for herb ground to about the texture of coarse salt and packed lightly, since fine powder clogs the screen and overpacking blocks airflow. Push the tube back in while the device is still inverted, then turn it upright. Our guide to choosing the right grind covers the difference between grind sizes.

Three buttons (fire, plus and minus) and a 0.96-inch colour OLED run everything. Press fire three times quickly to turn it on. In session mode a single press heats to a fixed temperature between 40°C and 220°C (104°F and 428°F) for a countdown you can set from 100 to 500 seconds, and a second press stops it. In on-demand mode it heats only while you hold the button, with a range of 40°C to 240°C (104°F to 464°F). The bar on the screen turns orange while heating and green, with a vibration, once it reaches temperature. Holding minus for five seconds switches temperature changes to 5°C steps, and the settings menu covers °C or °F, vibration, the LED and screen brightness. Our guide to session vs on-demand vaporizers explains how the two styles differ.

A rotary airflow knob opens the air intake anywhere from 2.2mm to 6mm, from a tighter draw at the small end to a looser one at the wide end. The T Vibe charges over USB-C at 5V/2A, and heating is locked while the cable is connected. Transient Mist's manual warns that vapor made above 210°C (410°F) is very irritating and suggests water cooling for those temperatures, which the included adapters allow. See our guide to dry herb vaping with a water pipe for how that works.

Transient Mist T Vibe vs Flow Pro

Transient Mist launched the T Vibe alongside the Flow Pro. Both use a 0.05mm foil heater, the same 40°C to 240°C range, session and on-demand modes and a 0.96-inch OLED screen. The T Vibe is the full-convection model, with a glass tube load, a viewing window, adjustable airflow and a 21700 battery. The Flow Pro puts the herb in an aluminum bowl, takes loose herb or dosing capsules, adds a fourth button and runs on a smaller 18650 cell. Our T Vibe vs Flow Pro comparison lines up the full specs.

Transient Mist T Vibe FAQs

How much does the Transient Mist T Vibe cost?

Transient Mist's site lists the T Vibe at $215 for the battery-free version and $228 with a Molicel P50B 21700 battery, in black or translucent, with October 10, 2026 as the launch date. The prices are shown with a dollar sign, but the store's checkout is set to Australian dollars, so check the currency before paying.

Where can you buy the T Vibe?

At launch, the only seller is Transient Mist's own website. Canadian retailer Soothing Vapours has said it tested prototypes and expects its first stock in mid-October 2026. Transient Mist's site also lists several US and UK stores as partners, but VGoodiEZ, one of them, has said publicly that it has no connection with the brand, so check with a store directly rather than relying on that list.

Is Transient Mist a legitimate company?

It is too early to say. Transient Mist has not named the company or people behind it, and the only contact details on its site are an email address and a Hong Kong WhatsApp number. Its website went live with pages left over from Mad Heaters' Tempest 2 manual, store policies that contradict its product pages, and a partner list that at least one named store disputes. Until independent reviews and established retailers appear, treat it with caution and only pay with a method that offers buyer protection.

Is the T Vibe convection or conduction?

Transient Mist describes it as full convection. The foil heater warms the air, and that air is drawn through herb packed into the end of the glass tube rather than the herb sitting against a heated wall. Our guide to convection vs conduction explains the difference.

What battery does the T Vibe use?

A removable 21700. The battery version ships with a Molicel P50B rated at 5000mAh, which arrives with an insulating sticker on the negative end that must come off before it will power on. For the battery-free version, the manual names the Molicel P45B or P50B and says any other cell must handle at least a 12C discharge and 40A continuous. Twist off the bottom cap to swap it, and fit the cell with the positive end facing down. Transient Mist has not published a sessions-per-charge figure. Our guide to vaporizer battery life covers caring for removable cells.

What temperatures does the T Vibe use?

Session mode runs from 40°C to 220°C (104°F to 428°F) with a countdown of 100 to 500 seconds, and on-demand mode runs from 40°C to 240°C (104°F to 464°F) for as long as you hold the button. You can switch the display between °C and °F. Our temperature guide explains what different settings change.

Can the T Vibe be used with a water pipe?

Yes. It comes with 14mm and 18mm water pipe adapters, and Transient Mist says the 16mm glass tube is a standard size that most 16mm glass stems will fit.

How do you calibrate the T Vibe?

Transient Mist suggests calibrating after 2,000 to 3,000 heat cycles, or sooner if vapor or flavour changes at the same settings. Deep clean it first and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Then hold the power and plus buttons together until it vibrates, press power three times to open calibration, and press it once more to calibrate automatically. The manual says a TCR value of 96 or 97 is normal. Press power five times to turn it off.

What warranty does the T Vibe have?

The manual gives a two-year limited warranty from the purchase date. It excludes batteries, O-rings, screens and glass mouthpieces, and it is void after unauthorized disassembly or modification, with the manual singling out the six main fixing screws as ones not to loosen. Transient Mist's store terms are stricter: they say it does not accept returns or give refunds on new and unused devices, does not repair damaged devices or supply spare parts, and only replaces damaged, incorrect or incomplete orders reported to hello@transientmist.com within two days of delivery.

Transient Mist T Vibe Cleaning & Maintenance

Transient Mist says every T Vibe is cleaned before it ships, but its manual still asks you to clean the parts with a cotton swab before the first session. After that it suggests a quick clean every 50 uses and a deep clean every 80 to 100.

Quick Cleaning (Every 50 Uses)

  1. Let it cool: The heating chamber and cooling assembly stay hot after use, so wait before handling them.
  2. Clean the cooling head: Spray isopropyl alcohol inside it, wipe it out and let it dry completely.
  3. Swab the chamber: Clean residue from the heating chamber and the body around it with a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl.
  4. Wipe the outside: Clean the mouthpiece and the outside of the chamber with a cleaning wipe.

Deep Cleaning (Every 80 to 100 Uses)

  1. Strip the removable parts: Take off every detachable part. Never soak the main body in liquid.
  2. Soak them in isopropyl: Seal the parts in a bag with 99% isopropyl alcohol for at least 30 minutes, shaking it now and then. Keep the O-rings out, since alcohol ages them.
  3. Rinse and repeat: Drain the alcohol, rinse the parts in warm water, then dip them in fresh isopropyl for one more minute.
  4. Dry fully: Wipe everything with a soft cloth and let it air dry before reassembly.
  5. Clean the chamber: Turn the T Vibe on, heat it to 60°C (140°F), and wipe the inside with an isopropyl swab, then with a water-dampened swab to remove the alcohol. A small amount of lubricant or wax on the heating chamber O-ring makes reassembly easier.

Screens and O-Rings

  • To change the chamber screen, push out the stainless support ring and the old screen with the included tool, clear any debris, and press the new screen in flat with its curved side facing up. Fine screens belong in the heating chamber and coarse screens in the cooling assembly.
  • To remove the cooling head O-ring, push it out with the stir rod through the small maintenance hole on the side of the bracket. Never pry O-rings out with sharp metal tools.
  • Clean O-rings with a damp cloth only, never alcohol, and replace them when they wear.
  • Ultrasonic cleaning is fine for the plastic parts and screens but not for the aluminum lock rings.
  • Clean the body and USB-C cable with a dry or slightly damp cloth only.

Learn More About Transient Mist T Vibe

On paper the T Vibe is aimed at people who want convection heating with a quick heat-up, the choice of session or on-demand use, and parts they can maintain themselves. Transient Mist puts a lot of weight on serviceability: the battery is a standard 21700 you can swap, the battery compartment is separated from the heating chamber, the glass tube is a common 16mm size, and the manual walks through screen and O-ring changes as well as temperature calibration. Its store terms currently cut against that, though, saying it does not repair damaged devices or supply spare parts.

There are a few things to know before buying. It cannot be used while it charges, the battery-free version needs a high-drain cell bought separately, and Transient Mist has not published a battery life or chamber capacity figure. It is also brand new, so there are no independent reviews or long-term owner reports yet, and little is known about the company behind it.

Other devices on this site with a similar spec sheet include the Frolic Thermal Extractor, which also pairs session and demand modes with a 40°C to 240°C range and a removable 21700, and the Tinymight 2, another fast-heating convection portable with a glass stem. If you prefer capsule loading in the same family, look at the Transient Mist Flow Pro.
