5. Change screens instead of scrubbing: Flowermate ships the CAP with spare stainless steel screens, three for the chamber and two for the mouthpiece. Both are small and easy to distort, so once one has gone dark and stiff, fit a fresh one.

6. Keep the body dry: The shell is matte anodised aluminium alloy. A dry or barely damp cloth is enough, and alcohol should stay away from the micro USB port and the single button.

Brush the chamber after every bowl, since 0.3 grams fills it quickly, and do the swab and screen check about once a week.
