Flowermate CAP Pro FAQs

How do you turn the Flowermate CAP Pro on and set a temperature?

Five quick presses of the up button wake it. Single presses of up or down move the set point one degree at a time between 148C and 230C, and a buzz says the oven has arrived. Up and down together swaps Celsius for Fahrenheit.

Why does the CAP Pro keep switching itself off?

A five minute session timer runs every time it heats, so an early finish is usually the timer, not a fault. Five fast presses of either button is the off command, so tapping fast to climb the range kills it. Hold the button to ramp instead.

How should the CAP Pro oven be packed?

Flowermate asks for the 0.3 gram oven at least three quarters full. A very fine grind blocks the mouthpiece screen, so a medium grind pressed in lightly works better. Brush stray material off the rim or the mouthpiece will not seat.

Can you use concentrates in the Flowermate CAP Pro?

Flowermate markets flower, but the oven reaches 230C and retailers list it for concentrates too. Sit a chamber screen in the base so nothing runs down onto the heating element.

Does the CAP Pro take a water pipe adapter, and where do spares come from?

Flowermate lists no CAP Pro parts itself, but vape specialists sell a silicone water pipe adapter and a replacement mouthpiece. Screens and the zirconia insert are sold as shared CAP and CAP Pro parts.

How long does the CAP Pro battery last?

Flowermate rates the internal 2000mAh cell at eighteen to twenty sessions, with a full charge about an hour over USB-C. The cell is sealed in and there is no pass through, so it will not run while plugged in.

What did the CAP Pro change over the original CAP?

Both share the 0.3 gram glazed stainless steel oven and five minute timer. The CAP has three fixed presets; the Pro adds an OLED screen, the full 148C to 230C span, a 2000mAh battery and USB-C charging.

Flowermate CAP Pro Cleaning & Maintenance

Flowermate asks you to fill the CAP Pro oven at least three quarters full, so 0.3 grams of herb sits pressed against glass glazed stainless steel for a whole five minute session. Resin bakes onto those blue glazed walls and around the two air intake ports at the base, and whatever the vapor carries onward lands in the magnetic mouthpiece, where a fine steel screen and a zirconia spiral sit in the airpath. A fine grind clogs that mouthpiece screen faster than anything else on this vaporizer, so grind medium.

  1. Let it cool first: Flowermate cleans the CAP Pro only once it has cooled completely, and asks for the same before loading it. The manual suggests a clean every three to five sessions.

  2. Empty the oven: Pull the magnetic mouthpiece straight off, tip the spent load out, then knock any clumps off the chamber walls with the pack tool before the included brush goes in.

  3. Wipe the glaze: The manual calls for a cotton bud dipped in vape cleaning solution. Isopropyl on a swab does the same job, but damp rather than dripping so nothing runs past the chamber screen into the heater below.

  4. Split the mouthpiece: It comes apart into a plastic body, a rubber gasket, the fine metal screen and the zirconia insert. Free that screen by pressing one end down and drawing it out instead of prying at the middle.

  5. Soak the parts: The manual asks for a couple of minutes in vape cleaning solution and a warm water rinse. Heavier buildup takes ten minutes in isopropyl for the screens, zirconia insert and gasket, then a hot rinse. Dry everything fully before reassembly.

  6. Swap screens rather than scrub them: Both screens are stainless steel and the kit ships only one of each. Chamber screens sell in threes and mouthpiece screens in twos, so keep spares and retire one once it stays dark after a soak.

  7. Clear the rim before packing: Flowermate warns to remove excess plant material from around the filling chamber so the mouthpiece re-fits tightly.

Give a new unit a burn off first: press the up button five times to wake it, set 230C, let it heat for twenty seconds and leave it idle until the five minute timer shuts it off, once or twice. That clears manufacturing residue, and the same empty run drives off alcohol after a deep clean. The 2000mAh cell is internal and not user replaceable, so use the hour it takes to charge rather than storing the device flat. If you run concentrates in this oven, leave a screen in the base so nothing drips onto the heating element.
