The Airstream has more surfaces to look after than a simple heater station because the vapor path runs through the aluminium block itself. Cannabis Hardware designed that path to be opened with two threaded plugs, one at each end, so residue never has to build up out of reach. Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)

1. Park the head on a safe surface: Set the flower diffuser or banger back into its pocket and leave the station to cool before touching anything.
2. Tip out the spent material: Empty the bowl while it is still warm, since residue lifts away more easily than it does cold.
3. Brush the bowl and screen: Use the included brush on the bowl and the screen so airflow is not restricted next time.
4. Wipe the top face: A dry cloth over the pockets keeps stray ground flower out of the coil.

Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Sessions)

1. Unscrew both vapor path plugs: The threaded plugs at each end of the path come out with the supplied Allen key, giving access to the whole channel.
2. Run the brush through the path: Push the cleaning brush the full length of the channel, then wipe it with an alcohol swab and let it dry.
3. Soak the ruby balls: Empty the head, soak the rubies in 90% or stronger isopropyl alcohol for about 30 minutes, rinse in hot water and dry them fully before reinstalling.
4. Soak screens and glass: Screens, bowls and glass tubes go in isopropyl alcohol as well, then rinse and dry completely.
5. Reassemble and heat empty: Refit the plugs, bring the station up to temperature with nothing loaded and let any remaining alcohol burn off before your first bowl.

Care Tips for Better Results

• Use a fine grind. Cannabis Hardware is explicit that finer material gives denser vapor in its ball vapes, and our grind guide covers how far to take it.
• Draw slowly. Pulling air through the ruby bed too quickly means it arrives cooler and the vapor thins out.
• Inspect the ruby balls when you soak them and replace any that are cracked or discoloured.
• Never leave the station powered on and unattended, and keep the controller away from water.

The Airstream suits someone who already knows they want a ball vape and would rather not build a desk full of parts to get one. Wired systems need a controller box, a coil on a lead and a stand, and the coil cable ends up draped across the glass. The Airstream folds all of that into one aluminium block with a temperature readout on the front, which makes it one of the tidier options among desktop vaporizers.
