AirVape Legacy PRO 2

Residue on the Pro 2 collects in two places: the gold plated chamber behind the clamshell door, and the removable glass tube that carries vapor up to the ceramic mouthpiece. AirVape's ONEPath layout makes that run a single straight shot from chamber to tip, which is the main reason maintenance is quicker here than on the original Legacy Pro.

1. Let it cool before opening the chamber: The manual warns that the unit is hot after use and the chamber should be left alone until it cools.

2. Lift the magnetic screen out: The Pro 2 dropped the Pro 1's small screen and silicone gasket for a filter screen about twice the size that snaps in magnetically. It pulls straight out for brushing or an isopropyl soak, and replacements come in six packs listed for the Pro 2 and Core.

3. Brush the gold chamber gently: Clear the chamber holes with the short brush from the kit, then follow with a cotton swab dampened in alcohol as the manual directs. Keep the pressure light and skip anything abrasive, since owners have reported the 24 karat plating lifting off the oven and the pressure plate with heavy use.

4. Run the ONEPath shaft: Open the silicone hatch beside the mouthpiece to expose the cleaning shaft. The long brush packed with the Pro 2 is cut to that length and sweeps the whole airpath down to the magnetic airpath filter.

5. Pull the glass airpath: The glass tube lifts out so both ends of the path can be swabbed and the tube itself soaked. Silicone pieces seal the assembly, so note their order before stripping it and seat them fully on the way back or the draw will leak.

6. Clean under the airpath disc: The gold disc twists to shrink the chamber for microdosing, and resin gathers beneath it, so take it out at every deep clean. It, the ceramic mouthpiece and the rubber adapter are all sold as separate replacement parts.

7. Remove the wax pad after concentrates: The pad insert only comes into play above 428F. Take it out once the chamber cools rather than leaving it to bake into flower residue.

AirVape publishes no burn off procedure here, so cleaning is brushing plus alcohol on removable parts only. Wipe the cork fabric and vegan leather shell with an ISO prep pad and keep liquid out of the body, as the warranty is void on units exposed to moisture or chemicals. Pull the 18650 battery now and then to wipe its contacts dry, and note the lifetime warranty covers the unit but not the cell. Dosing capsules, if you load with them, just go in alcohol weekly.
