Residue on the CORE gathers in the same two places as on the PRO 2: the gold-plated chamber behind the clamshell door, and the removable glass tube that carries vapor up to the ceramic mouthpiece. AirVape's ONEPath layout keeps that run straight, which is why maintenance is quick. The fabric skins are the one part that needs a different approach.

Quick Cleaning (After Each Session)

1. Let it cool before opening the chamber: The manual warns the unit is hot after use and the chamber should be left until it cools.
2. Empty and brush the chamber: Tap out spent herb and sweep the chamber with the short brush from the kit.
3. Check the filter screen: Brush the screen at the base of the mouthpiece so the draw stays open.

Deeper Cleaning (Every Few Sessions)

1. Run the ONEPath shaft: Open the silicone hatch beside the mouthpiece and push the long brush down the cleaning shaft all the way to the magnetic airpath filter.
2. Pull the glass airpath: Lift the glass tube out and soak it in isopropyl alcohol along with the filter screen and the magnetic airpath filter. Rinse and dry fully before refitting. Note the order of the silicone parts so the assembly seals again.
3. Swab the chamber: Wipe the chamber walls and holes with a cotton swab dampened in alcohol, keeping the pressure light. The 24K plating can lift under scrubbing or abrasives.
4. Clean under the airpath disc: Twist the gold disc out and clear the resin that collects beneath it. Replacement discs are sold for the PRO 2 and CORE.
5. Wipe the mouthpiece: Separate the silicone tip, ceramic mouthpiece and rubber adapter. Alcohol is fine on the ceramic, warm soapy water on the silicone and rubber.

Care Tips for Better Results

• Remove the wax pad after concentrate sessions rather than leaving it in the chamber.
• Keep alcohol and water away from the fabric skins. Pull them off and brush or spot-clean them dry, and wipe the body underneath with a prep pad only.
• Pull the 18650 now and then to wipe its contacts, and remember the warranty covers the unit but not the cell.
• Dosing capsules keep the chamber almost spotless between deep cleans.

The trade-offs are the ones you would expect at the price: no wireless charging, no precise temperature readout and a session timer fixed at four minutes, which suits session vaping but not long lazy draws.
