ViVANT VLeaF GO

Nothing on the VLeaF GO stays hot for long, so resin condenses within a couple of centimetres of the load: the scoop assembly at the base takes the sticky end of it, and the mesh screen and air cooler stacked inside the top cap catch the rest. A draw that has gone tight on this pen is almost always the mesh rather than the heater.

1. Scrape while it is still warm: Pull the top cap out and use its extended section, the same end that packs the load down, to lift spent flower out of the chamber. Follow with the supplied cleaning brush to sweep loose residue off the chamber walls before it sets hard.

2. Release the scoop assembly: Twist the scoop counterclockwise to free it from the body, then break it down further by taking out the chamber and the seals. That means the chamber O ring, the two scoop O rings and the scoop seal, all of which ViVANT sells together as an accessories pack.

3. Empty the top cap: The air cooler and the mesh screen both come out of the mouthpiece end. Pull them separately instead of trying to clean them in place, since the mesh sits behind the cooler and holds most of the condensate.

4. Soak at 50 percent: ViVANT specifies 50 percent isopropyl alcohol and a soak of 10 to 20 minutes for the parts you removed, weaker and shorter than the treatment a glass stem usually gets. Keep the solvent to those parts only. The zirconia ceramic heater stays in the body, alcohol should never be run down into it, and submerging the device itself voids the ViVANT warranty outright.

5. Rinse, dry, click it back: Rinse the scoop assembly under water, dry every piece completely, then twist the scoop back on clockwise until it clicks into place. ViVANT does not ask for a burn off cycle afterwards, so thorough drying is the only thing keeping alcohol out of your next session.

Treat the mesh as a consumable and keep spares, as it is sold in packs of ten. The top cap comes as a set with its rubber tube and a fresh mesh screen if the original stops sealing. Chamber and heater are replaceable on their own, and swapping the ceramic heater is the real fix when a scrubbed chamber still tastes stale. Peel the silicone mouthpiece cover off and wash it separately, especially if you slot the bare cap into a water pipe downstem. Charging over micro USB takes one to two hours for roughly four sessions, so a single press of the fire button to read the battery LED before heading out is worth the habit.
