Linx Hypnos Zero FAQs

How much concentrate should I load into the Linx Hypnos Zero?

Linx recommends 0.05 to 0.1 grams on the ceramic plate, roughly half a grain of rice up to a full one. Filling the chamber chokes airflow. Keep drawing for about five seconds after releasing the button to pull cool air through.

What kind of extract works in the Hypnos Zero?

Stable hard or wax type extracts. Linx advises against runny oils, which run off the flat plate rather than vaporizing on it, and the Hypnos Zero does not take dry herb at all.

How do I change the heat setting on the Hypnos Zero?

Three quick presses of the power button cycle four presets, shown by button color: blue low, green medium, yellow medium high, red high. Five presses turns the pen on or off.

Why is my Hypnos Zero blinking white ten times?

Either the battery is flat, or you held the button for fifteen seconds and tripped the overheat protection, which puts the pen into standby. Five quick presses brings it back out.

How does the Hypnos Zero charger work?

The charger is a short USB lead ending in a 510 cup that screws onto the base of the battery, so the pen has no charging port. It shows red while charging and green when full. Linx warns against over tightening it, which presses the connection plate down and leaves a poor contact.

Can I use 510 cartridges with the Hypnos Zero battery?

Usually. Linx says the battery accepts most 510 atomizers and cartridges, though some will not seat well enough to fire, and the plate atomizer likewise runs on most other 510 batteries. Our 510 battery guide covers what to look for.

What does the Hypnos Zero warranty cover?

Linx gives it a one year limited warranty, claimed by support ticket with your LNXVPR order number and a description of the fault. Tampering voids it, and Linx counts moving the ceramic plate with a tool as tampering.

Linx Hypnos Zero Cleaning & Maintenance

The Hypnos Zero is wickless and coilless. Concentrate sits directly on a flat ceramic plate at the base of an all ceramic chamber, so residue builds as a film across the plate rather than caking around a coil, while the metal filter section and glass tube above it collect the condensate that tightens the draw.

  1. Break it into four pieces: Unscrew the mouthpiece from the atomizer, separate the glass tube from the metal filter section, then unscrew the atomizer from the 510 battery. Those four parts are all that comes apart.

  2. Soak the atomizer plate side down: Linx specifies standing the atomizer ceramic plate side down in about 1cm of isopropyl alcohol for two hours. That shallow level puts alcohol on the chamber while leaving the 510 connection at the other end clear of it. Dry the atomizer completely before it goes back on the battery.

  3. Leave the plate alone: Linx is blunt that you must not poke, scratch, push, pull or move the ceramic plate with any tool, as that can permanently damage the atomizer and counts as tampering against the one year warranty. The included Linx tool is for loading, not scraping.

  4. Expect the plate to darken: Linx says dark marks after a few sessions are normal and do not change how the device performs, so treat that discoloration as cosmetic rather than something to scrub off.

  5. Two hours for the filter, a swab for the glass: The metal filter section takes the same two hour isopropyl soak. The glass tube instead gets a Q-tip soaked in isopropyl, worked over the inside, outside and metal base. The kit ships two glass mouthpieces against a single filter section, so one can dry while the other is in use.

  6. Keep the battery dry: Never submerge the 650mAh battery. Clean the 510 threading and the center contact with a cotton swab and alcohol, checking for greenish corrosion. Linx also warns against over tightening the atomizer or the screw on USB charger, since that presses the connection plate down and leaves a poor contact.

  7. Charge and store it properly: The charger threads onto the battery and glows red, turning green after the one to two hour charge. Unscrew it then rather than leaving the pen plugged in overnight, store it upright with the silicone cap fitted, and click the button five times to lock it off.

Loading the 0.05 to 0.1 grams Linx recommends, rather than filling the chamber, stretches the interval between full strips. The atomizer, glass tube and filter section all sell separately as 510 parts and interchange across the Hypnos line, so swap the atomizer once a soak stops restoring vapor.
