HEBE Titan 2

The Titan 2 sits a stainless steel oven directly under a plastic nozzle, and the steel tube inside that nozzle only runs part of the way through it, so vapour condenses on bare plastic on its way out. The mesh filter screwed into the base of the nozzle catches most of that residue first, which is why the draw tightens up before anything else goes wrong.

1. Switch it off and let it cool: Five presses of the function key powers the unit down. HEBE's manual tells you to open the chamber only when it is cold, and separately warns against running the Titan 2 back to back, suggesting about half an hour between sessions so nothing scorches.

2. Release the nozzle: The mouthpiece comes free with a sideways push, following the arrow marked in the manual's parts diagram. The same tilt forward or backward is how you open the oven to load it, so that joint takes constant handling. Work it gently, because the cylinder is plastic and owners have broken it.

3. Unscrew and swap the mesh filter: HEBE's cleaning instructions have you unscrew the mesh filter from the nozzle and either clean it or replace it. The kit includes five spare mouth filters for that reason. Brush the screen through first, and once brushing stops restoring the airflow, fit a fresh one.

4. Brush the chamber cold: The clear brush in the box is for sweeping the stainless steel oven out. Empty the spent load after every session and brush the chamber walls and the rim the nozzle seats against, where packed material compresses hardest.

5. Isopropyl on a swab only: The manual permits a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a swab or cloth for the chamber, then rules out cleaning solutions entirely. No part of this device is meant to be soaked. The oven is fixed in the body with plastic beneath it that the intake air passes through, so keep the alcohol on the swab and never let it run down into the unit.

6. Clear the airway and the outer parts: Push a dry swab through the nozzle bore to lift the film off the plastic section the steel tube does not cover, and check that the two air outlets on the body are not blocked. The silicone mouth protector caps wash in warm water and go back on dry.

Wipe the micro USB port with a dry swab before charging from a 5V 1A wall adapter, and unplug it once the LCD switches off rather than leaving it on charge overnight. A flickering backlight with heating stopped is the low voltage cutout, not a dirty chamber.
