Yes, if you want a session vaporizer you can hand to anyone and forget about. The Mighty+ launched in 2021 and still sells at its $399 list price almost everywhere we track, which tells you the market hasn't moved on either. What has changed is the competition: the Venty is faster, the VEAZY is smaller and cheaper, and the POTV Lobo and Tinymight 2 both have batteries you can swap. If any of those three things is your top priority, buy something else. If you want the most dependable heavy-use portable in the category, the Mighty+ is still it.

What Does the Mighty+ Cost Right Now?

Most "still worth it" pages guess at a street price. We track it. Our price index scraped every retailer listing we follow on July 30, 2026, and this is what came back for the Mighty+ (two listings that failed the scrape that day, Vapor.com and The Stash Shack, are left out rather than guessed at).

The listed price in our catalog is $399, and Storz & Bickel's own US page shows the same figure. Across the four US retailers that returned a price, the spread is $11. Five years in, there is no discount pressure, because it keeps selling at full price. The one real outlier is VapeFully at 309 EUR, worth a look if you are in Europe. What Has Launched Since the Mighty+?

The Mighty+ was an update to the 2014 Mighty, not a rethink: same hybrid heater, cooling unit and 0.25 g chamber, plus USB-C charging, a ceramic-coated chamber and a heat-up cut from about two minutes to about one. Four portables have arrived since that matter to this decision. Specs are from our catalog, prices from the same July 30, 2026 scrape.

Venty (2023). Storz & Bickel's current flagship. Its spec sheet claims a 20-second heat-up, airflow up to 20 litres per minute through an adjustable wheel, Bluetooth to the S&B web app and a 0.3 g chamber. It costs $50 more and is the device most Mighty+ shoppers are really deciding against.

VEAZY (2025). Announced in September 2025 at $249, it is the smallest S&B device by a wide margin: 134 g against the Venty's 252 g, a 0.15 g chamber, three preset temperatures on one button and full range control through the web app. S&B quotes a 40-second heat-up. It is the first S&B vaporizer sold in four colours, which tells you who it is for.

POTV Lobo (2023). A mid-priced hybrid with a titanium chamber and a replaceable Samsung 35E 18650, at well under half the Mighty+'s price. It ships with a dosing capsule and a concentrate pad, and sits on our list of the best vaporizers with replaceable batteries.

Tinymight 2 (2022). Pure convection, a walnut body, a swappable 18650 and a heat-up of about three seconds. It works as an on-demand or a session device, which the Mighty+ does not, and carries a three-year warranty against S&B's two.

Where the Mighty+ Still Wins in 2026

First, what we can honestly say first-hand. Our long-term unit is an original Mighty, the one our Mighty accessories guide was built around. The Mighty+ uses the same heater, chamber and cooling unit, so what follows about the session comes from years with that unit. The Plus-specific changes (USB-C, ceramic-coated chamber, faster heat-up) come from our catalog and Storz & Bickel's spec sheet, not from a Mighty+ we own.

Three things have not changed in five years.

It is the easiest full-size portable to use well. Hybrid heating warms the herb from the chamber while the air does the extraction, so a slow sip and a hard pull both come out dense. No draw technique, no dial. Two buttons and a temperature readout.

It is built for heavy rotation. The 0.25 g chamber, long cooling unit and dual-cell battery are sized for back-to-back sessions, which is why it still anchors our list of the best vaporizers for heavy use. Dosing capsules make reloads a ten-second job.

Nothing about it is mysterious. The cooling unit comes apart into a handful of pieces, and screens and seal rings are cheap and included in threes. The warranty is two years, plus a third if you register.

Where the Mighty+ Falls Behind

Sixty seconds to heat is now the slow end of the premium bracket. The Venty does it in a third of the time and the Tinymight 2 in a twentieth, and once you have used either, a minute feels like waiting.

The battery is internal. Fine for years, but when the cells fade the fix is a repair rather than a fresh 18650 from a drawer, which the Lobo and Tinymight 2 both allow. There is no Bluetooth and no airflow adjustment. It is also a large device, sized for the sofa rather than the pocket; the VEAZY exists to solve that inside the same brand.

None of these are flaws so much as the shape of a 2021 design. They only matter if they are your priorities.

The Verdict: Who Should Buy the Mighty+ in 2026

Buy the Mighty+ if:

• You want a session device with no learning curve that you can pass around a room.
• You vape mostly at home and mostly daily, and the tenth session of the day matters more than how fast the first one arrives.
• You want the most established accessory ecosystem in the category (cooling units, stems, cases, capsule caddies).
• You are choosing between it and the original Mighty. Buy the Plus; USB-C and the faster heat-up are worth the difference.

Buy something else if:

• Heat-up speed or airflow control is your first priority. Get the Venty.
• You want the S&B build in a pocketable, cheaper package. Get the VEAZY.
• You need a swappable battery for travel or years of service without a repair. Get the Lobo (budget) or the Tinymight 2 (premium).
• You want a single fast draw rather than a warmed-up session. Get the Tinymight 2.
